Vocabulary

Everything here stays on this device unless you turn on sync or share it with a team. It is what makes your second month better than your first.

Project

A client, a product line, a book. Terms and memory saved to a project are used only while that project is active — so one client’s wording can never reach another’s document.

Active

New project

Words you want translated your way, kept as written, or never used.

Import

One button for every kind of list: a termbase (TBX), a memory (TMX), a spreadsheet export (CSV or tab-separated), or a plain list of words. We read the file and tell you what it is. Nothing is saved until you say so.

Glossary

Your termsUnavailable in this browser.

Add a term

Case-sensitiveLeave the languages on “Any” to force the term in every language pair.

CSVColumns: term, translation, pair (optional, e.g. eng_Latn>fas_Arab), caseSensitive. Import updates existing terms by (term, pair).

TBX

The termbase format other translation tools read and write. One language pair per file, so pick the pair above. Import updates existing terms by (term, pair).

Style rules

The client's rules that are not terms: words that must never appear, words that must stay exactly as written, a per-line length limit for subtitles, an expansion limit. The Review desk's delivery report checks every row against them and names the rule. Kept on this device.
