Eight things
your legal team will ask about.
Enterprise buyers ask the same questions. Here are the eight we hear most — answered up front, so you don't have to chase a rep for a checklist.
- 01
Approval workflow
Three-state status — draft → review → approved. Once a job is approved, it's locked from edits until an owner explicitly reopens it.
- 02
Team workspace
Organisation accounts with role-based access (owner / editor / commenter / viewer), team seats, shared credit pool and shared glossary.
- 03
Audit trail
Every edit recorded against the original output. Change history is complete and time-stamped. Revert any change, restore any version.
- 04
Glossary & memory
Defined terms, party names, technical vocabulary and house style enforced across every job. Set once, applied forever.
- 05
DPA & sub-processors
Data processing agreements available on the Business plan. Sub-processor list documented. Configurable retention down to immediate deletion.
- 06
Single sign-on
SAML SSO available on enterprise plans. Identity provider integration with Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace. Provision via SCIM.
- 07
Spend caps & budgets
Per-user, per-team and per-API-key monthly credit caps. No runaway costs from a bug or a misconfigured pipeline.
- 08
Audited security
GDPR end-to-end, encryption at rest and in transit, no training on your data, no third-party AI vendor routing.
Four enterprise paths, one platform.
- Legal & compliance
Filings, with audit trail.
Contracts, court filings, regulatory submissions — translated with layout preserved, human polish on request, every edit recorded against the original.
- HR & internal comms
All-hands, every region.
Dub the leadership update, caption the town hall, translate the policy memo — for every regional language your workforce speaks.
- Marketing & launches
Coordinated, every market.
Same campaign creative in every market — translated decks, dubbed video ads, voice-overs in the same talent identity across every language.
- Customer support
Knowledge in every language.
Translate help centre articles, dub training videos, caption product walkthroughs. Glossary keeps product terminology consistent across every channel.
“We caption every weekly all-hands for a workforce spread across fourteen countries. Captions cheap, translated SRTs in the same export pack, bilingual format for regional teams. It's replaced two vendors.”

Enterprise, answered.
Real questions from buyers, real answers. If something isn't covered here, the full FAQ lives at /faq and you can always open a ticket.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement?
+Yes — for Business plan and enterprise customers. Contact sales@traxlate.com for a DPA, sub-processor list, and jurisdiction attestation letter. Useful for regulated industries (healthcare, legal, financial) that must document their data processing chain.
Is our data used to train AI models?
+No. Your source text, video footage, voice references and translated output are never used as training data and are never sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
Can we set spend caps per team / API key?
+Yes. Every API key supports a monthly credit spend cap; org accounts support per-user and per-team caps. Once a cap is hit the API returns 402 until the following month. Prevents runaway costs from bugs or traffic spikes.
What about SSO and provisioning?
+SAML SSO is available on enterprise plans, with identity provider integration for Okta, Azure AD and Google Workspace. SCIM provisioning supported for user lifecycle automation.
What retention options do we have?
+Default 30 days. Configurable down to 7 days, up to 1 year. Immediate deletion on completion is also available — source and output are purged the moment you download the result.
Can my legal team review the contract before we sign?
+Yes — we provide a redlineable MSA, DPA, and security/privacy supplement on request. Contact sales@traxlate.com.
How do approval workflows work in practice?
+Every output starts as draft. Editors and commenters can iterate freely. When an owner moves the job to 'in review', further changes require sign-off. Once approved, the job locks until reopened — useful for compliance-bound workflows that need an explicit audit point.
Do you support invoiced billing?
+Yes, for enterprise customers. NET-30 invoicing with annual or quarterly commitment options, custom credit pricing, dedicated capacity. Contact sales.
